What I’m building now
Sivense
Software, AI, data and connected systems for companies solving complex problems.
Why Sivense exists
Most technically difficult problems are not difficult in the way vendors expect. They are difficult because the system has to survive contact with real data, real users, real machines and real organizations, for years.
I did not want an outsourcing company. I wanted an engineering company capable of solving those problems across software, AI, data and connected systems, with the judgment to say what should not be built.
Today Sivense is incorporated in the US and Europe, with 90 engineers across Europe, from Portugal to Ukraine. This team has shipped through worse than a hard deadline: in 2022 it left its office in Kherson, went fully remote and kept every commitment, and clients did not notice. I still read the architecture before we commit to anything. The longer story.
What makes sense to bring
- 01
Industrial IoT and machine data
Sensors, telemetry, predictive maintenance, data platforms that hold years of operational history.
- 02
AI with a defined blast radius
AI in products and operations where a wrong answer has a cost, and autonomy has to be earned.
- 03
Platforms that must run for years
Cloud and software platforms behind global operations, built to be maintained, not just launched.
- 04
Strengthening an engineering organization
Teams that need senior engineering capacity and judgment, not just more hands.
You contract with the Sivense entity in your jurisdiction: Sivense LLC (Delaware, USA) for US clients, Sivense, Unipessoal Lda (Portugal) for EU clients, TOV Sivense (Ukraine) for clients in Ukraine. Services, cases and the team are on sivense.com.
What happens after you write
- 01
I read your context myself: architecture, data, constraints, what has already been tried.
- 02
The first call is with me and the engineer who would lead the work. No sales stage in between.
- 03
You get a written view of the problem and a proposal for how we would take it on.
Have a system that has to keep working?
Write to me directly. Tell me what it does, what it runs on and what keeps you up at night.
